New Products

Happy Hello's Everyone!!!

Over this past weekend I recieved some new products from Memory Box, Yellow Bicycle, Basic Grey, Copics, Papertry Inc, and a few other places. I was so excited to have them in my hands. Perhaps a little too excited. I mean have you every recieved products you have been waiting for and you know what it was you wanted to do with them. However, just as you began putting things in motion...well, it wasn't turning out the way you may have imagined it would. Before I knew it, I was messing up products--specifically paper...my DPs. So, I had to take a moment or two to relax. After that, I still wasn't relaxed relaxed, but I wanted to make something and I did. Keep in mind, I'm really not showcasing the my card. Truthfully, I wasn't happy about the finished product. Instead, I'm sharing with you one of the stamps I purchased. Take a look...

I'm not sure about you, but it appears as though I often pick-up my holiday stamps too close to the actual celebration which often means I do not get a chance to use my stamp(s) until the following year. So, I thought I had done a good thing by purchasing this stamp in advance.

I'm not sure whether you can see with these photos, but I used dimenissionals to make the jar standout from the sentiment, a little stickle, (okay a lot of stickle), Copic Markers, and topped it off with purple ribbon. I just love this image. I hope to return later this week using this same image on a different card.

Thanks for stopping by The Peddler's Gallery and come back real soon.

Celebrating Him

Happy Hellos Everyone!!!

I hope your work-week kicked-off to a fabulous start. Today's card is a spin-off from the previous post. That is, it's another card with a masculine feel. I pretty much used the same products with the exception of my CuttleBug embossing plate. However, before I show you this card, I wanted to share with you an award I recieved over the weekend. All I have to say is it was a wonderful suprise to discover. This award comes from Carol, from Carol's Ink Spot. Be sure to stop over and check her blog out. I'm always inspired no matter how often I visit. Anyway, Carol awarded me the Liebster Award. THANKS CAROL!!!

 Liebster is German for 'dearest'.
This award is a 'share-the-love' arrangement. It is given to inspirational bloggers with less than 200 followers.

Here's the to-do list of any Liebster award recipient:

Create five occasion cards a month for the remaining months of the year (i.e. March, April, May, etc.). You will be provided at least five themes to select from each month. Your occasion cards will differ each month (i.e. technique, theme, style, etc.). All occasion cards should be posted by the 20th of each month. The All Occasion Card Challenge entries posted and/or linked to your blog by the due date will be entered into a drawing on the last day of the month for a terrific prize. The month of March occasion card themes are listed below:

By the end of 2012 you will have five set of unique cards from each challenge to send; give away to family and friends or for retail. I hope you will consider joining me in at least one of the challenges. I think you’ll have lots of fun too.

Now, on with today’s card….

Today's card is all about BoBunny DPs and the sketch over at MoJo Monday. I created this card with a male recipient in mind. In doing so, I intentionally left out the ribbon.  Just below is this week's sketch over at MoJo Monday.

...and this what I created...

You Are MISSED

Happy Hellos Everyone:

What a Saturday!!!

Before I get into today's post, I wanted to remind you if you have not already done to take at the previous post, "Pay it Forward." There two more spots available. If you want to, please be sure to leave a comment.

I had so many things planned for today. It began with a 7:30 A.M. dental appointment. I have not a clue as to why I select this time frame every six months on a Saturday morning. Then there was the crop I missed out on and at this time, I should be working on some church event things. However, I cannot pull myself away from watching Whitney Huston's Homegoing Celebration on CNN. Not only that, I have missed place my cell phone and I cannot seem to find it. I saw the phone before I left for my dental appointment. I thought I heard it when I returned, but not since then. I'm not going to stress because I know it will pop up. Speaking of stress...why did the auto machanic tell me I need a fuel pump. This would be the third fuel pump for this American made car. Then he topped off by telling me it would cost $1000. Okay, I am now officially off track. :)

Okay, on with today's card...

I CAS this card. I came across this  card in a magazine a few weeks ago and decided I liked it enough to try to recreate it. I am truely please how it turned out.

Take a look.

Well, what do you think? I can tell you this was a pretty easy card to recreate. I haven't a clue as to who the recipient will be, but I think whoever recieves it will like it as much as I do. Thanks for stopping by The Peddler's Gallery and come back real soon.

Pay It FORWARD

Happy Hellos Everyone!!!

I hope all is well with you and yours. As I mentioned in a previous most, so many thing are happening or have happened that I didn’t want to overload you in one or two post. So, today’s post is about  “Paying it Forward.”  During my hiatus I traveled across the pond and down under to Stamps Paper Happiness to visit Edna, one of my favorite card makers. There’s so much inspiration over there and there was no difference the other day when I stopped by to visit. On this particular day it was all about Paying it Forward.

Here’s how it works.

The Script

Pay it Forward in 2012--I will make something handmade for the first five people to comment on this post.  You in turn, must also pay forward, by either pasting a similar message to your blog or making five things for those outside of your immediate circle of family and friends—you know, people you don't normally gift to.  Only rule is the item has to be made by you and it has to reach the five recipients by the end of 2012...
I can guarantee mine will...
Does anyone want happy mail from me?

Just leave a comment on this post, but make sure your return email is not blocked otherwise I won't be able to get into contact with you to get your delivery details!

Thanks for visiting The Peddler's Gallery & come back really soon.

A Window View

Happy Hellos Everyone!!!

As I mentioned earlier, there is so much to share; however, I don’t want to overload you in one post. So, I've broken down into a couple. The second card I would like to share with you today is a Memory Box meets My Mind's Eye card. I have been waiting for this die like forever. I was so please to discover Memory Box had it. I have a window die by another maker, but this one is so much better. I simpley love it! Combine this die with My Mind's Eye's lastest designers papers and it's a good chance you may come up with something like this.

The embossing adds a little realisum to the window.

I added a little stickle to the flowers to make them pop.

Love the woodgrain paper too.

This was the first time I used the small DP pad to create a card. I purchased the 12x12 DP's too, but I really discovered the benefit of using the 6x6 pad. The idea of having most if not all of the image on the card can comes in handy. I'm not sure I'm hooked, but I think I may purchase another pad. Well, what do you think about the the little birdie? And what about the lined paper? Doesn't it mimick a window blind?

Thanks for stopping by The Peddler’s Gallery and be sure to come back real soon.

I'm BACK!!!

Happy Hellos Everyone!!!

I’m BACK!!! I’m not sure about you, but it appears as though it’s been forever since my last blog posting. So many things have occurred. I have been truly busy and when I wasn’t busy, I was extremely exhausted. However, on my self-imposed hiatus, I managed to visit several blogs and have been truly inspired—mentally. I hope that counts:) The energy just wasn’t there. I did manage to attend my first crop of 2012 and I had a really nice time. I met a fellow card maker and that’s always nice to find someone who enjoys the same crafts as you do; got together with some old friends; and even baptized a new card maker; and she’s hooked too.
There is so much to share; however, I don’t want to overload you in one post. I mean….I would like for you to return. For starters, I'll just share today's card with you. Just be sure to return tomorrow to learn about the challenge I have placed upon myself... and I would love for you to join me in this effort.

Now, on with today's card...

Since this is February, I tried to romance it up a little and went with the Mr. & Mrs. route. It's not Valentines or red for that matter, but I like it. Well, thanks for stopping by The Peddler's Gallery and come back real soon.
