Forty-Something

Happy Hellos Everybody:

I hope your week has kicked-off to a wonderful start. I wasn't feeling that well today. I actually stayed home from work--which probably was a good thing. I was able to dedicate a little time to myself--a.k.a. rest to be ready for tomorrow.

This past weekend was wonderful (that is before I began to feel ill). I was able to dedicate one full day to crafting. That's been nearly impossible to do lately. There are so many different celebrations on my calendar this month. A few I had cards for and a few I did not.

Well, the first card I wanted to share with you was a card I made for my brother. Today, he officially joined the Forty-Something Club. As I mentioned, the card is for my brother, so when you think embellishments, less is more. Well, take a peak...

My number dies from PTI arrived last week and I could not wait to play with them. After I saw my card in all black, I though it would use a splash of color. So, I sprayed a little yellow-gold onto the cardstock and topped the PTI sentiment by embossing it.

As always, thanks for stopping by The Peddler's Gallery and be sure to come back real soon.
