Happy Hellos Everyone!!!!
I hope all is well with you and yours. I know it’s been a minute or two since my last post, but a few things have happened since then. I felt as though I needed a minute away from my personal computer after the Christmas holidays. I must have because my PC caught a virus. Funny how things just happen isn’t it. As you may recall, I posted a couple of times and that was it. Well, by the time my PC recovered, I was still in need of some me time. I didn’t do much crafting up until a week or two ago. Something clicked. I’m not sure whether I realize Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and graduation celebrations are right around the corner or that my greeting card stash was pretty low. Whatever the reason, I’m crafting once again.
Thanks to everyone that sent me a message or called me to say, ‘What’s going on?’ I think you were instrumental in pulling me back into blogland sooner rather than later.
Now, on to today’s project… I have been on an altered box fetish and I’m lov’n it. Take a look….
When it comes to purple, you know me. I wasn't immediately
drawn to this line by Graphic45. That is until saw the purple prints.
From there, I was hooked. The DP was beautiful by itself.
I didn't want to over do it with lots of embellishments [and I don't think I did].
I added a classic teaspoon to be used as a handle.
Clearly we know what this box is intended for.
I created a couple of my own embellishments using the DP
and a stamped sentiment. Of course I topped it off with a crown.
I thought the silver spoon complimented the silver crown.
The inside is lined with a purple faux velvet lining.
I just love love love the inside. I think it 's a pleasant unsuspect suprise.
Of course, how could I not mention the feet.
Yesterday, this beauty was purchased at the Baltimore's Farmers Market.
Thanks for taking a moment to stop by The Peddler's Gallery and come back real soon.

Wow, what a lovely box! I can see why it sold so quickly. Sorry, I missed your peddler’s handbag event. I’m glad to hear you are back up and running (or crafting) again. Keep up the beautiful work.
