My Die-olo-dex

Happy Hellos Everyone:

I hope your Memorial Holiday was an enjoyable one. For me, yesterday was a beautiful day to sit back and relax and reflect on those who have come and gone. Often times, it makes me smile when I think about the wonderful memories they have left in my heart.

I know I haven't blogged much over the past two month, but every now and again, I have taken advantage of some of my free time to dabble in a little paper craft. I was inspired to create today's project after visiting Ashley Cannon Newell's blog, A New Design. I visit her blog quite often; however, I came across this project a few weeks back. So, this weekend, I had an opportunity to try to create one of my own.

Just below is what I'm referring to as my Die-olo-dex.

Instead of using a box from Graphic 45, I chose to alter a cigar box I had in my inventory. I don't have the name of the paper I use, but I'll update this information later today. Have to say I absolutely love the paper. I purchased months ago and I had no idea what I was planning to use it for. I just loved the distressed look. Believe it or not, but this project was such a space saver. I have approximately 43 sets of dies in this little box with room to add a few additional dies. This has been the best space saver for me by far. As you can see, I alter some dividers I purchase from a local office supply store; added some labels; and created a die-olo-dex sign. I have to say, I was amazed by the number of small dies I have accumulated...just haven't figured out what to do with my larger dies. Any suggestions???

Well, thanks for stopping by The Peddler's Gallery and come back real soon. I'll have a Photo-olo-dex to share with you.

WEll, this is a great tool tpo use for the storage of dies! I must admit, all my dies are in one large box, and I get quite frustrated rootling around looking for something.
Love the distressed feel to this.

Excellent storage for your dies. I agree, that placing them all together just jumbled up is a mess trying to figure out where that certain die is you want ASAP. For the larger dies, if the top of this box does not close down, why not just place them at the back with taller dividers? They'd all be in one spot then.
