More Artsy...Less Crafty

Happy Hellos Everyone:

I hope all is well with you. I have been trying to get back here since May 14th, but I have been busy crafting. What about you? What have you been up to?

Today's post and the next two post to follow will have a more artsy...less crafty feel to me using the same technique. Take a look and let me know what you think.

This note card has become my Mona Lisa. I absolutely love it! So much so,
I actually sign and date this style card and not just because I used my colors.

If you can imagine, I began the process using white tiles.

Well, what do you think?

Thanks for stopping by The Peddler's Gallery and come back real soon.

Half Full

Happy Hellos Everyone:

I hope your week began on with a fantastic start. Mother's Day was terrific. I had a wonderful time with my son I even talked him into wearing my favorite color for Mother's Day. I'll try to remember to post a photo of the two of us before the week's end.

This weekend I was a vendor at the Blooming Arts Festival in Reisterstown, Maryland. Although the rains arrived than I hoped, we managed to have a successful day before the downpour. A big thanks to everyone that supported The Peddler's Gallery with a kind word or a purchase or two.

I still have a crush on some of the latest releases from Stamping Bella. This have been a big hit with lots of people and the card is terrific for just about any celebratory occasion.

Of the seven photos, I have tried to create a different look for each stamp.

As you can see, each dress differs from the next.

I used various Copic Markers to cast highlights, skin tones,
and hair color.

I'm not sure if you can see, but I highlighted the hair as I often to create
volume. Fortunately, I am enrolled in a Copic hair and skin color class
next month. Perhaps, I'll get better.

I also love the fact this is a CAS card--clean and simple.

Well, what do you think?

Does this make you want to pull out your Copics?

As always, thanks for stopping by The Peddler's Gallery and come back real soon.

Perfect for Your Keepsakes

Happy Hellos Everyone:

I hope all is well with you and yours in your corner of the world. Often, I'm always telling you what I have created or what I am planning to create. Before I forget, be sure to let me know what you are working on and so I can come checkout your creations.

Today's post highlights one of my keepsake boxes. Take a look and don't forget to share your thoughts.

I love this tiny keepsake box.

I used Japanese handmade paper to cover the box
and adorned it with a little bling.

I love when I am able to preserve the original banding.

Checkout the foundations. They're not Tim Holtz.

This is new and I feel as though it helps to complete my product.
Checkout my tag.It has The Peddler's Gallery information on the reverse side.

I love how the box blings a bit from the inside.

Well, thanks for stopping by The Peddler's Gallery and come back real soon.

MWAHHHHHHH!

Happy Hump Day Everyone!!!

Can you believe it? Two days in a row. I guest you could say I am on a roll. I know I haven't posted much since this past fall, but by know means does that imply I wasn't being creative. A week after Christmas and all throughout that wonderful winter many of us experienced, I did nothing but craft. Every time the local meteorologist forecast snow, I checked my supply inventory and did the happy dance. When word was received that my office doors were closed for the day (or two), I danced some more. I danced enough to create quite a few things that I cannot wait to share with you. I have created cards and boxes, and a few wall hangings too. I have a few more things up my sleeve you may find interesting too. My goal is to continue to expand my inventory while staying true to all things paper [or paper related].

Some of you may have seen this adorable Senorita image from Stamping Bella. I just absolutely adore her. She definitely make me want to smile and I hope she has the same effect on you.

Take a look.....

As you can see, I have been playing with my Copic Markers.

I love these ladies from Stamping Bella. Don't you?

She reminds me of some one's auntie or granny.

I colored her using several shades of brown to achieve
multiple complexions.

Lastly, I highlighted her hair and
gave it some dimension by using Glossy Accents.

Thanks for stopping by The Peddler's Gallery and come back real soon.

Guess Who I Met

Well...HAPPY HELLOS Everyone!!!!!

I have been away from you and my blog for far too long. You wouldn't believe how much time it has taken to get back here. I have been trying to post for months. On Sunday, (thanks to Niki) I decided to get back into the swing of things. I could not figure out my log on or my password. Finally, I managed to get into Blogger, but I wasn't having any success with my dashboard. Needless to say, but I will anyway...it's Tuesday and I am finally back to blogging.

So much is happening with The Peddler's Gallery. I have been busy--good busy that is. This past weekend was nothing short of wonderful. On Saturday, I vendored at the Baltimore Washington International Airport Hilton Hotel for the Delta Sigma Theta, Inc. Prayer Breakfast. My cards and boxes were a big hit.

Although, Saturday's event was absolutely wonderful, Sunday's event was the icing on the cake {sort-a speak}. You will NEVER guess who I met at the Annual Catonsville Flower Fest & Garden Party. Before you scroll down to the very end of the post be sure to take a careful look at each photograph. Perhaps you know this person too.

Don't be to quick to scroll down. Take a look at this photo.
Then take a guest of who this person is. No clue. Then take a look at the next photo.

Okay, what about this photo? This says it all. Take a guess. Take another one.

You guessed right!!!

Yes, I met Mother Nature--where else,
but at the Annual Catonsville Flower Fest
& Garden Party.

I met Mother Nature and she's terrific. We talked briefly about
this past winter, but she assured me that blue skies are ahead.

Thanks for stopping by The Peddler's Gallery and be sure to stop by again tomorrow.
I have lots of projects to share with you.

It's A True Blew Monday!

Happy Hellos Everyone:
I know it seems as though it has been forever since I last long on to blog. Hopefully, not as much time will lapse between today and my next post. I have been busy over here at The Peddler’s Gallery. Autumn blew in. Then there was the release of Blew Monday, and I cannot forget Christmas. In between all of that there were lots of arts and craft shows.  I took a little break and by mid-January, I was back at creating once again. In addition to my paper crafting, I have attended a few book reviews for Blew Monday.  I sold out of my first shipment rather quickly. Not to worry, the next shipment should arrive soon. If you haven’t already done so, feel free to visit my website at www.thepeddlersgallery.com to secure your copy.

I have lots of projects to share, but today is all about Blew Monday. My most recent review was held this past Friday in Columbia, Maryland. Below is a photo of the wonderful women I had an opportunity to meet.

Needless to say everything turned out wonderful. There were tasty dishes and plently of conversation. One of the best things about attending Blew Monday Reviews are meeting new people and discovering just how involved my readers have become with each character. It's such a terrific feeling!

Well, as always, thanks for stopping by The Peddler's Gallery and come back real soon.
