You know they say 'Clothes make the man.' I'm not sure about that, but I know it can't hurt. :) I hope it has made this card for you. Of couse I have used my official color (puple), the state of Maryland's unofficial colors--Purple & Black. This is yet, another card I'm planning to give to a friend or family member for Father's Day. It also works well for the (young) man entering into the workforce right after college or a new job/career path, as well as a birthday card. So, what do you think? I had to hand stitch this card--which took some time. For some reason the stitcher on my sewing machine were too close together. I'll work on fixing the problem tonight. As you can see, I tried to create a coordinating handkerschief with soft multi-colored purple, tan, and green Polk-a-dot paper. I also stamped out a clock and embossed it with silver and black embossing powders, covered it with Diamond Glaze for a glass effect, added a couple of Tim Holtz's emblishments (clock hands and chain) and to finish it off, I stamped 'Happy Father's Day' on the pocket. The camera does not do justice for the comment. The wording is clear in person. I hope you like the card and I hope it inspired you all at the same time. Thanks for visiting The Peddler's Gallery and make today a great day!
