Happy Hellos Everyone!!!
Gosh! Time really flies--
I hope all is well in space of the world. I cannot complain. Well, sure I could, but it wouldn't do me any good;) Let me just say, what I have to share with you today is not a card, but I hope you will enjoy it just the same. I promise to have a few new cards to share with you over the next few days.
Do you ever feel a little off when it comes to creating for the season? Well, I'm feeling that way. I love Halloween and the pageantry and splendor that accompanies the holiday, however, I do not create much for the season since my son, nieces and nephew are growing up rather swiftly. I still create cute little things and send it to them. I just don't create as much. Instead, yesterday, I was feeling a little wintry {with the cold weather and all}. So, I created a door hanger that can be used well into the new year. Take a look and let me know what you think.

The base of the door hanger is made from the cardboard that's usually found at
the bottom of the stack of the DP in your LSS. Recycle is the key word here.
I pulled out some of my Waltzing Mouse stamps and Tim Holtz's goodies
(i.e. the rickety shack house die), some paint and began to shape a wintry home.
I pulled off a couple of branches from one of my artificial
arrangement and coated them in a glitter mixture to created iced trees.
I added a few embellishments and put a transparency sheet behind the
house to create closed windows.
I finish the house off by placing it behind a multi-colored picket fence.
The door hanger in full view.
I had a wonderful time creating this little door hanger, which prompts me to believe I have a few more to create. As always, thanks for visiting my little space in blog land--The Peddler's Gallery and come back to visit real soon.
