Santa's Back

Happy Hellos Everyone:

I hope your Sunday has kick-off to a sensational start. It's hard to believe a week has gone by since my last post. It's even harder to believe almost half of this month has gone by. All I can say is I have been busy, busy, busy. I have participated in several holiday events over this past week and I have a few more scheduled before the big [25th] day.

undefinedWell, you know what today is? Right? Today marks a new challenge over at the Christmas Card Challenge Blog. I hope you took an opportunity to play along with us this past week. If you enjoyed last week's challenge, I'm almost certain you will enjoy this week's challenge just as much, if not, even more--more that is, especially if you love working with dies. I have to admit, I am a little obsessed with dies as of late. I'm not sure what it is, but lately I seem to incorporated them in several of my projects. Are you experiencing the same thing? You'll see what I mean when you take a look at today's card, but before you scroll down, I have to tell you a little something about the today's card. I was seventeen when I sent the my first Christmas card to family and friends. I didn't want anything too deep, like I mentioned, I was only seventeen. I came across this card that only featured the back of Santa Claus. On the inside of the card it simply read, 'Santa's Back'. From that point forward, I became a giver of greeting cards. Well, this is were today's inspiration came from. Take a look and feel free to tell me what you think about my clean and simple approach to this week's challenge.

I have to say, my son thought this card was rather plain,
but if you ask me, there's something to be said about simplicity.

So, not only did I pull out my Martha Stewart glitters, but I took
the opportunity to use my Silhouette. I have to tell you, I LOVE IT!!!!

No sure whether you're able to determine, but I used three separate greetings
on the front of each card, "Santa's Back,  He's Back, and I'm Back" all of which
were computer generated. How I wish you were able to see the cards in person.

Now, that you have my take on this week's challenge, what's yours? If time permits, please take
an opportunity to visit my team members blogs to see their take on this week's challenge.

As always, thanks for visiting The Peddler's Gallery and come back real soon.
