Another Busy Week

Happy Hellos Everyone:

Another busy week has come to an end. My Mother's Day was good and hope yours was too. I have so much to tell you starting with last week. Last Wednesday, my mother and I went to New York City. It was our plan to catch the bus, but you know what they say about the best laid plans--they say, we missed the bus. We were on time; however, we were at the wrong location. What a bummer. I was beginning to think it was actually Monday instead of Wednesday. On top of that, I was extremely fatigued, but the idea of not going was out of the question. so, my mom and I decided to drive. I started, but I had to turn the wheel over after an hour or so. My mom took over driving and for the first time she drove into New York City--normally I am the one that does the driving. We shopped and shopped and shopped. We finally made it down to the West Village to The Ink Pad. It's the only stamping store in all of New York City. To be so small, they have a large collection of stamps--stamps you do not see every where. Aside from several other things, I purchased three little funky stamps, plus a few other stamps that I can't wait to use and for you to see. The Ink Pad also has a large collection of ethnic (Greek, Spanish, Irish, French, African-American, etc.) stamps. I was impressed and happy to know they carried stamps for everyone. I thought they were a little pricey, but I had to remember where I was. Besides, it probably wasn't pricey for the average New Yorker. Needless to say, I enjoyed my trip to the village and I would like to return again with a little more funds. :)

I CAS the card above from SCS. I really liked it! I already had the paper--just had not done any thing with it. I changed a few things to make it my own. Suprisingly, no stamping was preformed on this card. The text was accomplished from the use of my computer/printer. I made a couple other cards simular to this one. Those cards are located in the card gallery. Please feel free to take a look.

I added a second gallery to the blog since I posted last--a Cake Gallery. I began gleaning photos of pictures I had of eible desserts I made to show to you. Most of the photos you will see are of things I have made some time ago. However, I made my mother the basket of flowers for this Mother's Day. Hope you enjoy it as much as they did.

Make it a great Tuesday and thanks for stopping by The Peddler's Gallery.
