Oh Christmas Trees

Happy Hellos Everyone:

I hope your Monday jumped off to a great start. I just wanted to share another I made with you when I was with the ladies of NYC&Me this weekend. The inspiration for this card came from Natalie over SOC/NYC&Me.  I love this card or two reasons--one, I just love a card higlighted in purple. Who couldn't like anything that's purple, right???  The other reason why I like this card as much as I do is, I love when I can use a stamp set again and again and manage to come with different results. If you have time to scroll down, you'll noticed I posted a card using the same set of stamps just a few weeks ago.

The stamps are apart of the Hero Arts, Merry Christmas Trees set. I stamped the images on top of my favorite holiday paper of 2010. The paper is from BoBunny Winter Joy collection. Don't you just love it? I also used two types of dimenssionals. One dimessional sits higher than the other.  While one tree is flushed to the base of the card, the two other trees vary in dimession. I used SU and This to That dimessionals to achieve this effect. The bark of the tree were filled-in with a COPIC marker. I anchored the trees with a nutral green ribbon and used one of my sentiment from Impression Obession, All I Want or Christmas stamp set to complete the card. I only made one of this style card on Saturay, but I think I'll have to make a couple more--perhaps using a few traditional colors.

I hoped you like this card and perhaps found some inspiration while you were here. Thanks or stopping by The Peddler's Gallery and come back real soon.

This card is beautiful! I love those trees stamped on the pattern paper. By far, this is my favorite so far.
