New Week, New Creations

Happy Hellos All:

As another busy weekend concludes, I've taken a moment to reflect on this weekend's activities. I came home Friday from work with a mindset to begin my second job of the day. That was, I had to begin preparing for Saturday's activities. By the time I realized, it was time to go to bed three hours before I actually went to bed and just a couple of hours before it was time to begin again.

Kevin and I were up and out by 8:00 A.M. to setup for the annual Strawberry Festival/Bazaar held at the Arbutus United Methodist Church in Baltimore County. We enjoyed the festival and the fellowship. I had an opportunity to meet so many wonderful people. Kevin was my helper. He's gotten better with setting up as well as disassembling the greeting cards. I noticed something happened in between setting up the display and taking it down. Of course this hap pend after he had an opportunity to peruse the church grounds in reach of something to eat. My help decided to take a nap during the middle of the festival--go figure.

After leaving the strawberry festival, I returned home to regroup for the evening activities. I participated in the Bag Lady's Crop at Photo Scraps in Eldersburg, MD from 6 P.M.until midnight. I had a great time. I think this was one of the only times I participated a crop and actually managed to get something accomplished. For me, crops serve as merely social gatherings for crafters. I'm worked on a scrapbook I hope to share with you by the end of the month. I will say, 'last night I got off to a great start.' I also met two nice ladies that sat directly across from me from Hagerstown, MD. Ladies: I really enjoyed your company. I returned home around 1 A.M.--tired, but not sleepy. By the time I went to bed, it was was time to get ready for Sunday service. Needless to say I was late for church.

Well, that's all I have for you today. I haven't caught up with my much needed rest, but I do anticipate having a card or two to share with you tomorrow. Until then, peace & blessings to you. Thanks for stopping by The Peddler's Gallery and come back and visit real soon.
