Happy Hellos Everyone!!!
I was so elated when I learned what the inspirational colors were for this week's challenge over at CR84FN. Can you guess what the inspirational colors are? Well, don't worry, I give you a hint. One of the colors is my favorite color. That's right! You guessed it...PURPLE. OMG right! My favorite combination besides purple on purple (I'm just kidding.) is purple and lime green. It's an oh so fabulous combination.
Below is this week's inspirational photo over at CR84FN...
...And this is what I created....
To achieve this effect, use PTI cardstock and a green burlap; stamp Hero Arts Flowers and Swirls (love this stamp!!!) on craft die cut paper with Memento ink; color the flowers and leaves with a variety of Copic markers; one white paper stamp, color, and cut Hero Arts Flowers and Swirls for a second time; apply selected flowers above first stamped image with dimensional to achieve volume; punch two holes into the bottom of the die cut; apply Tim Holtz's distress inks (purples & green) around the edge of the craft die cut paper; insert ribbons; and apply Smooch Spritz and bling.
I hope your weekend was 'Oh! So Fabulous!' I didn't do much this weekend beside the typical cleaning, but my weekend was great. Though the weekend is coming to a close, if you haven't had the opportunity, but wanted to play along with the SOC community in our first Blog Hop--it's not too late. You have until 11:59 PM to do so. Just scroll down to the previous posting to get all the information about the SOC First Blog Hop.

Okay. That has got to be one of the coolest ribbon treatments I've seen. So pretty. I love the CR84FN colors on the kraft. Talk about amping the gorgeous challenge colors up even more. So rich and jewel toned now on the Kraft. Such a great idea. I hadn't gotten my spark yet for this challenge. Well that was before I came here. Whoohooo! Thanks for this!
