Worth Rav'in Over

Last One, I Promise...I Think

I don't know whether I mentioned I am a Balltimore Ravens football fan. I have been every since they arrived in town. When I discovered the team's colors included the color purple, I fell in love with the team and immediately wanted to learn what the game was all about.

The Ravens have already begun practicing for the upcoming season. My lil' man and I try to make it out to one or two practice sessions before the season gets under way. So, this weekend in honor of the Baltimore Ravens, I decided to get out my purple and black inks and came up with this card.

My photo did not come out as nice as I hoped it would. No pun intended, but you get the picture. :)

I used Tim Holtz's Spooky Stuff  Halloween stamp set in combination with Memory Box Stamp Distress Crows. I baptised the crows to be ravens and embossed them in purple and black powders.  Since yellow complete the team's tri color, I sponged yellow-golden ink in the background. I added some coordinating ribbon and adhered to white cardstock I added the caption after the photo was taken. It reads:  Your Birthday Is Worth Rav'in Over.

I hope you discovered something that inspired you. Thanks for visiting The Peddler's Gallery.
