Did I Make My Goal

Happy Hellos Everyone!!!

I hope all is well with you. Yesterday, I took time to clean my crafting area from this past weekend. You know when you attend a crop, there's alot of preparation and packing that goes along with it. Then there's the reverse when you return home--dragging your supplies into the house and putting them away. The one that gets me are the supplies and materials I packed and never used or even pulled it out. Do you know what I mean. Well, I finally put all that stuff away.

My goal for this evening is to (1) Participate in a few okay a couple of challenges; (2) Capture my creation; and (3) Post my creations to share with all of you. Easy-peasy right. Well, as you continue to make your way down the post, you'll see....

I didn't quite make my self-impose goal. I didn't enter this card in a challenge. This is a card I made this past weekend at my birthday crop. I was inspired to create this card by my friend  Chris V. As you can see the hot air balloon is three dimensional. I attached the balloon to a clear sheet of acetate paper and applied two clouds using dimensionals and stamped a sentiment on the cloud paper. By the way the balloon basket is the lower part of a cupcake stamped image. This was a really fun card to make.

I did manage to create two cards. One I plan to present tomorrow and another on Friday. So, by far the evening wasn't at a lost. I think you'll really like them too.

Lastly, I want to remind you Scraps of Color first Blog Hop will take place on this Friday, March 18th. Keep in mind, there will be lots of blog candy up for grabs on several of the design team member's blog sites.

As always, big thanks for stopping by The Peddler's Gallery. You're always welcome and come back real soon.

Great card! Love how you made the balloon, and great way to work "outside the box" on the basket! I look forward to seeing what you and the SOC ladies have in store for the hop tomorrow!

You win the best prize for the most interesting "about me" section for sure. What a good read. This card as well as of a myriad of your others are so lovely and doubly as innovative and are totally inspiring! Thank you for that. I am looking forward to seeing and reading more.
