My project for the hop is fit for the season. It's a springy birthday greeting card. I must say, I love-love-love my Copic markers. However, I decided to use another technique for the hop. To create the flowers, stamp flower images onto a printed piece of paper (Note: the smaller the print the better for stamping purposes); cut and ink the core of the paper with dark ink; shape the flowers pedestals in an upward motion; place a dimensional in between each flower to create volume; finally, spritz your flowers with your favorite shimmer mist. (Hint: Lightly mist the flowers with rose water to give them a since of life.)
And I’m offering a prize for the items pictured below. All you need to do is leave a comment letting me know your favorite flower making technique and/or become a follower. The flowers you made are beautiful!!!!
I'm already a follower but, my fave flower making technique is to use a scallop punch on tissue paper and secure all the layers with a brad. Very frilly and full! LOVE THE CARD BTW!
My favorite flower technique is to make paper rossettes, scoring a strip of paper at even intervals then folding it accordion style. Taping it end to end, flattening it out and then adding a button to the center to complete the process.

I'm already a follower... I think my fav so far is using those inexpensive e.line flowers from Prima to make my own flowers. I can color them to match and glue them to make bigger, more realistic flowers.
i really love ur flowers and i think thats a wonderful idea u used to make them. i usually make flowers using my sizzix and getting some fat quarters and cutting them using the different pattern fabrics. securing them with a button in the center...or punching different flowers and balling and unballing the paper to give it dimension.
Beautiful card and flowers, can't say that I have a favorite techique since I usually just cut/layer! Thanks for the inspiration and sharing.
Great flowers! Since I'm already a follower, my favorite technique for making flowers is just pulling out the old fashioned punches and layering the pieces!

My favorite for making flowers from scratch is the folded rose quilling technique. Thanks for sharing!
My favorite flower making technique is to start with my Cricut die cuts, ink the edges, and jewel the centers.

I love your springy card! It's so vibrant! My favorite flower making technique is pretty simple...cut a bunch of circles from your fav patterned or plain paper, add a brad to the center, and then cut slits in the paper up to the brad. It gives it volume,"fluff," and adds lots of dimension to your page or card.

I am already a follower. My favorite flower technique is to use a punch to punch out several circles. Then fold each circle on each side, place these on a bases circle and put a embellie in the middle.
I am already a follower. I love this card! Everytime we get together I love stamping on the pattern paper, so I would say this is my favorite technique. I also enjoy cutting out the circles in different sizes to make the flower.

Love your flowers. My fav flower making technique is poping open a pack of Primas and adding some stickles or glimmer mist. (smile)
