Happy Hellos Everyone!!!
I hope all is well where you are. I'm hopeful today will be a pretty relaxing day for me. Originally, I had plans to participate as a vendor at the local church. However, Mother Nature has changed my mind. The set is outside and right about now [in Baltimore] it is a too cold for something like that. That means I may be able to focus on my cards and other projects as I have been preparing for a few winter craft festivals.
I wanted to share another alter box with you. I simple love, love, love this petite tea box. Although it has a rustic feel, I think it has equally as much charm. Take a look.

Let me just say, the first picture posted is the last photo I had taken of this
altered box. It's the only photo that highlights the miniature spoon handle.
This handle appears to be a lot larger in the photograph; however it's the
perfect size when viewed in person.
The DP is printed on craft paper. I wanted to add a little something to it, so
I distress the edges using Ranger Ink's Distressing Ink. I thought the color red
worked well with the up coming holidays (i.e. Thanksgiving, Christmas,
Kwanzaa, Valentines, etc.)
Of course I had to pull out some Tim Holtz goodies to create my own
embellishment and just to provide enough accent to this project. I love the stamp
sentiment by______. It works oh so well with my metal crown. I'm not sure
whether you're able to see the tea cup steaming bling has been raised.
There it is again. That wonderful ribbon treatment. I absolutely love it.
I carried the same pattern inside the tea box as well as the bling.
Appropriately so, I might add.
However, I opted for something a little different for the sides and bottom of
the box. It's the same line of DP, but instead of tea cups, there are clocks
printed on the craft paper. In short the images read, "Tea Time".
I also used a different pattern for the bottom of the box, but equally as nice.
As always, thanks for visiting The Peddler's Gallery and come back real soon.

Gorgeous tea box Lorie! I love the little spoon and crown charm, and the lovely rustic trim around the edge. The paper is gorgeous, I have some of that myself, it's either echo park or K&co? I couldn't resist the tea cups and clock faces too!
This is such a charming box. Lorie, I may have to steal this idea for a Christmas gift!! It's just gorgeous.
I'm with Susan! You've inspired me to try one of these very soon! TFS!
